COPRI-Cooper Union Student Workshop



Vidaris, a consulting company for engineering, architecture, and construction, came to Cooper on Tuesday, October 1st. Kevin Kim, a Cooper Union alumni, came in to give a presentation on Vidaris and his experience working there.

The freshmen class was introduced to our chapter of ASCE here at Cooper. Freshmen met the chapter officers and learned about upcoming events. We combined this meeting with the SEAoNY and ITE chapters , so the freshmen could learn about their clubs as well.

September 17th, 2019 – First General Meeting



On March 21st, Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers, a geotechnical engineering company, visited Cooper to talk about the geotechnical engineering design process and projects that MRCE was involved in. A Q&A followed the presentation in which students inquired about the firm’s work as well as any internship opportunities.

On November 29th, the Cooper Union ASCE chapter hosted Langan for a company presentation. Many students came to hear about the projects Langan works on, and to learn about possible opportunities. Langan collected many resumes at the event. About 25 students came.
