On December 4th, the Cooper ASCE chapter held its annual end of year party with SEAoNY, ITE, and NYWEA. We held our yearly gingerbread house building competition as well. Students formed teams of 3 to 6 and had twenty minutes to construct gingerbread houses using gingerbread cookies, frosting,and an assortment of candy. The structures were judged on stability, height,aesthetics, and cost/materials. This event is a fun way to end the semester,and it also serves as a great break from studying for finals. At this time,elections for the 2019 boards of ASCE, SEAoNY, ITE, and NYWEA were held.
